Its comfortable. I like that it rotates. The fabric is just OK and tends to get overly dry - just like other couches. The biggest negative is that the actual base - the round platform on which the whole sofa sits - is made of particle-board wood. The product description said "unitized steel base" which I assumed referred to the actual base. Turns out only the parts connecting the wooden base to the rest of sofa is steel - the product description never clarified that. So it was disappointing because I selected this over others thinking the actual base is steel - not so, unfortunately. We'll see how long it lasts. Looks sturdy so far. I had to roll it upstairs, since I was the only one lifting it and it survived the torture. Other than that, make sure you have some help carrying it upstairs and that the doors in your house are wide enough - about 38 to 40 inches - to let this chair go through. Ours was an inch and a half shorter and we had to play all sorts of tricks to haul it two floors upstairs and squeeze it into the room. Its likely gonna stay there for rest of its life. And forget about returning the product after bringing it into the house - at 115 pounds and two floors up, its not gonna come down ever again. Good luck!

The material I read about the chair, I was expecting more adjustments on chair. The chair does feel good, comfortable, and relaxing. Fall asleep on it quite a bit.

This recliner is far too large for my living room. It also is too big for an average size person. All and all I thought it would be small enough for my frame, however, with taking so much room in the house, and being unable to sit comfortably, I must submit that it would not be my first choice again.

This chair is the most comfy and cozy chair I've ever seen, although smaller than expected, it envelops you in and comforts your body. It even swivels when reclined! Good price!!!--Good deal!! You won't go wrong with this one!

My elderly parent is able to stand and maintain balance when getting up. I also attached a grab bar to the wall so the swivel action allows for easy turning from the TV to the wall to rise

I'd give this 4.5 stars the site would let me. We purchased the swivel/recliner version and it looks and works great. It's easily wide enough for two children or 1 adult and 1 child. The color (saddle) has a little more red hue than what the picture shows, but it worked fine for our color scheme. The only issue we're finding is it doesn't feel very stable in the fully-reclined position with additional weight (i.e. kids). My children see my relaxing or snoozing as an opportunity to "attack". The chair feels like it's going to tip backwards if one of them gets on and the center of gravity shifts to the back of the seat cushion (about where my bum is). Of course that's not necessarily a bad thing since they will now generally stay off and let me sleep.

My Teddy Bear Chair was a Christmas Gift from my wife. My old TV chair hurt my back and hip and was hard to get out of. Now my back is fine and the chair is very easy to get in and out. The only problem is that my cat likes it as well as I do. Thanks for making a great product!

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and I think the only time he's out of it is to go to work! It really is very comfortable! My personal tastes are clean lines as far as decor.. but as I was told by many men.. "you can't get a comfortable recliner with clean lines" Needless to say I gave in and he's so happy!
